QUICK REVIEW

The ASUS zenfone 4 Max Lite rocks a 5.2” IPS LCD display with a 720p resolution at 228 PPI. Yes! It only has a 720p screen, but for its price, you can’t complain. It has good viewing angles and is fairly visible under direct sunlight.  It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 clocked at 1.4GHz, with the adreno 308 for its GPU and has 2GB of ram. It may seem a little under-powered but it gets the job done for your daily needs like watching videos, playing games and browsing online. The phone runs ZenUI 4.0 on top of android 7.1.1 out of the box with a few bloatware but those can be uninstalled easily. The interface itself looks clean and sleek. The phone supports dual sim and has a slot for a micro SD. It has 16GB of internal storage but you’ll be left with only 8GB of usable space to give way for the OS and pre-installed apps. That could be easily fixed because the phone’s storage can be expanded up to 256 GB via microSD card.  For all those headphone lovers out there, yes it does come with a 3.5mm audio jack, so no need for annoying dongles. It sports a 13MP rear camera with a 5MP wide-angle lens and an 8MP front camera. Both the front and rear cameras have their own LED flash. ♥

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT IT?

Its reverse charging feature is a plus for a travel blogger like me. It can help me bring lesser gadgets and (powerbanks) on some of my trips especially when I need to pack light. For its price Php 7,995 , this phone really does the job for being a battery king and a reliable smartphone in the market.
